By default a blogspot blog contains Blogger logo as its Favicon. Using your own favicon helps you to build a brand for your blog. This post explains how to add a favicon to your blogspot blogs.

Steps:

1. First you need to design/create/generate a favicon or get the ‘readymade’ favicons from the web(preferably 16×16 size).
   (list of such websites are given at the end of this post)
2. Go to Blogger Dashboard – select Layout – click Edit HTML
3. Then Search(Ctrl+F) for the code given below in the header section

4. Add the code given below right after the above line:

5. Finally Save your template. You should see the favicon in your blog now!

3.Adding To blogspot.
1. Log into blogger and go to your blogger account dashboard.

2. Navigate to layout and on your sidebar click Add Gadget and select HTML/javaScript

3. leave the title empty, and on the content area, paste your generated code.

4. click Save, now move the gadget from sidebar top area
to bottom area.

5. Click save changes And Enjoy,
